Having a birth plan is important, and through the Guthrie/OB Hospitalist group partnership, you can trust that delivery of your baby is in the best hands. The extended team of OBHG doctors have been carefully selected and approved by the OB Hospitalist Group (OBHG), in collaboration with Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pa.
Q: What is OBHG?
A: OBHG is the OB Hospitalist Group, which is of a team of doctors that routinely provide coverage to help deliver babies. You will still see the Guthrie OB/GYN team throughout your pregnancy. A Guthrie provider or an OBHG doctor will deliver your baby, depending on when you deliver.
Q: Will I be billed by OBGH or Guthrie?
A: You may receive separate charges from Guthrie and OBHG. If an OBHG provider delivers your baby, you will receive a separate bill for their Professional Physician fee, as well as a hospital bill from Guthrie.
Q: Will my insurance cover OBHG?
A: OBHG participates with many insurance plans, including Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Guthrie Highmark.
Q: Who can I contact for more information?
A: Please contact Brenda Williams, Manager, Accounts Receivable, with the OB Hospitalist Group at 800-967-2289 or firstname.lastname@example.org for additional information.
