Every Medicare recipient is eligible for an annual wellness visit after 12 months of Medicare Part B enrollment. Wellness visits allow you to touch base with your Guthrie health team.
Annual wellness visits increase the chances your health team will catch potential problems early, when they are most easily treated.
Using a health-risk assessment survey, your team will also collaborate with you to create a personalized prevention plan that can identify risk factors. Working together, you will develop a set of goals that will allow you to lower your risk of health issues through healthy lifestyle changes.
After 12 months of Medicare Part B enrollment you’re entitled to one yearly wellness visit with no copay. If, after your visit, additional tests or follow up meetings are needed, we’ll help you schedule those as well.
