Financial Assistance

If you do not have health insurance or worry that you may not be able to pay for part or all of your care, we may be able to help. Guthrie provides financial aid to patients based on their income, assets, and financial needs. Learn more.

Interfaith Chapel

If you are in need of a private area for prayer, silence, or reflection, please visit our interfaith chapel. The chapel is located on the first floor near the Admitting/Registration reception area. Open between 5:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., it is a place that welcomes and offers solace to people of all faiths. To visit the chapel afterhours, please ask a staff member to contact security.

Smoking/Tobacco Use

Guthrie prohibits the use of all tobacco products at all of its campuses and office locations. This policy will be enforced in a manner which promotes prevention and awareness, and provides education for those who use tobacco.

Interpreter

Sign language, oral interpreters and other auxiliary aids and services necessary for effective communication are available free of charge upon request to people who are deaf or hard of hearing. Translators for those who do not speak English are also available upon request.

As a patient of Guthrie Cortland Medical, we want you to have the information you need to manage your care. Our goal is to educate our patients, families, and caregivers to promote overall wellness and recovery during your stay with us and at home.

Our online patient education library provides easy-to-understand programming on many health topics including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, diabetes, hip and knee replacement, cancer, heart disease, healthy lifestyles, medication management and more!
This library is available 24 hours a day and is Wi-Fi accessible.
