Guthrie is proud to introduce a comprehensive spine center to treat all patients with spine and neck pain. The new center takes a specialist team based approach to treating patients.
Dr. Matthew Quigley, Chief of Guthrie Neurosciences said, “We are pleased to now be able to offer this new service to our patients. Back pain can be a life-changing condition. Our new spine center offers patients a multi-specialty path to treating their spine and neck pain, helping them to access a variety of different interventions, tailored to their owns personal health needs.”
Approximately 10% of the adult population is afflicted with back or neck pain, which can be debilitating, especially for patients who are not candidates for surgery. The spine care center at Guthrie aims to improve quality of life for all patients with spine and neck pain.
The spine center offers an integrated approach to treat even the most complex cases of spine and neck pain. The spine care team includes physiatrists, specially trained spine-care physical therapists and pain management specialists, rheumatology, occupational therapy, chiropractic, bariatrics and neurosurgery.
