*Please note, if you are registering as part of a team, you will only be eligible to win a team award. If you register as an individual, you can only win an individual award. No crossover.
*The teams only apply to the 5K Race. If you are registering as a team, please make sure your team name matches your other team members and is spelled the same.
Proceeds go toward Guthrie's Sports Medicine Fund to be used for projects that educate, prevent and treat sports related injuries.
Age group awards: 1st and 2nd in each age group. MUST BE PRESENT.
10K race: Under 15, 16-20, 21-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over
5K race: Under 10, 10-15, 16-20, 21-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over
5K walk: Under 20, 21-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over
Kids run: First 30 kids receive a gift
Pre-Registration Race Packet Pick-Up will be held on the morning of the race May 9th, 2015 starting at 7:30 am in front of the Sayre Theatre.
WAIVER: In consideration of all the acceptance of entry, I, intending to be legally bound, do hereby, for myself, my heirs, my executors, and administrators, waive, release and discharge any and all rights and claims which I may have, or which may hereafter occur to me against The Guthrie Clinic, it’s affiliates and/or subsidiaries and their respective offices, agents, and employees of each corporation and any and all sponsors and promoters, for any and all injuries or losses suffered by me while participating in and traveling to and from this event.
I know that participation in a walking/running event of this type is potentially hazardous. I should not enter and run unless I am medically able and have trained properly. I fully understand that I or the person that I am responsible for, will be subjected to harsh environmental conditions, including but not limited to, unseasonably extreme temperatures, uneven terrain, rock, roots, trees and branches, stream crossings, wild animals and limited access for immediate medical assistance. I understand that there is the risk of sustaining bodily injury and even death. I, myself, or the person that I am responsible for release the race directors, event sponsors, and any other persons involved in this event from any liability that may be incurred by myself, or the person I am responsible for, as a result of my/his/her participation in this event. I understand that I or the person I am responsible for will be responsible for any cost of emergency service that is required during or as a result of this event. I also understand that all entry fees are non-refundable, even if the race is cancelled by an act of nature or human.
I consent to the use of my name, portrait, picture or photograph as part of the Guthrie Gallop, which is being prepared by The Guthrie Clinic.
I understand that this information may be made available online at www.Guthrie.org, social media, in print format/other, as applicable.
I agree that I shall have no claim against The Guthrie Clinic, it’s affiliates, and/or subsidiaries against anyone accessing the picture whether online, in print or by any other means. I also hereby give my permission to the media to use my name and/or picture in any newspaper, broadcast, telecast or any other account of this event without limitation and without any obligation of anyone to compensate me further.
