What drew me to Family Medicine: What drew my attention to Family Medicine is the emphasis on continuity of care. What do I like to do in my free time: I love snowboarding, taking care of my house plants, spending time with my 2 cats Kendall and Cleo, trail biking, playing guitar, shoe polishing, sewing, and trying new foods and cuisines.

What drew me to Family Medicine: Getting to work and connect with patients over a longer period of time and viewing patients and their stories through a more holistic and comprehensive picture. I found that it allows me to form a more comprehensive view of my patients without losing appreciation for more specialized or focused perspectives and still allowing for a great breadth of pathology.
What I like to do in my free time: In my free time, I enjoy playing video games, tabletop games (e.g. Dungeons and Dragons), reading (trying to get back into it), and sometimes messing with New Yorkers by insisting that Chicago deep dish counts as pizza!

What drew me to Family Medicine: Family Medicine is very dear to me because of its ability to deliver continuity of care to all ages, this field focuses on primary prevention of diseases and gives longitudinal care to patients and their families, providing care across different life stages and health needs and this is where my passion lies. Family medicine creates an environment for me to exchange personal stories and experiences with my patients, making it easter to develop a trusting relationship with them. It resonates with my mission to serve individuals and communities by making a long-lasting difference in their lives and their health.
What do I like to do in my free time: In my free time I like to spend time with my family and enjoy getting creative in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes from diverse cuisines. I also enjoy exploring new destinations on family vacation, experiencing new cultures, visiting local markets, visiting museums, enjoy sampling street food and seeing new places. Tarpon fishing is a sport I enjoy living in Florida as it involves physical exertion, patience and skill.

What do I like to do in my free time: In my free time I enjoy being in the outdoors either biking or hiking otherwise I enjoy watching movies with my wife, reading, cooking and going to the gym.

I also like the idea of being a rural jack of all trades doctor who can help serve my community for most things given the limited resources.
What do I like to do in my free time:  I enjoy hiking, going on adventures on paths less traveled, and hanging out with friends/family. Since childhood I enjoyed playing card games like Magic the Gathering and Yugioh. I am passionate about innovation and am currently working on research that will hopefully one day impact the world of IVF.

What drew me to Family Medicine: The thing that drew me to Family Medicine most was the practice of treating patients as a whole, as opposed to focusing on a specific discipline. Women's Health is a complex field involving more than the obvious obstetric and gynecologic aspects of medicine; it is what I'm most interested in pursuing as a long-term career. 
What do I like to do in my free time: I like to spend time with my family, especially my baby nephews. I like to try new activities and restaurants, cook, go to the gym, read mystery/thriller novels, draw and paint.

What drew me to Family Medicine: Primary care and preventive medicine is the cornerstone for the promotion of overall health and well-being, which is what drew me to Family Medicine. Being in the unique position to see patients and their family of all ages, from birth to end-of-life, allows me to experience the most diversity in both physical and mental health pathology, socioeconomic status, and culture. Focusing on upstream determinants of health to truly address them for the better can significantly change the trajectory of one's life, and I think it is one of the most beautiful practices of medicine. As a Family Medicine physician, I can tailor my practice and research to my interests and still become a jack-of-all-trades leader in the community.
What do I like to do in my free time: Mountain/trail biking, hiking, taking my daughter to parks, observing and interacting with wildlife, video games, and dabbling with technology and computer programming.
