Family medicine is primary care for your entire family, for all ages and stages of life. Family medicine PCPs offer:

Preventative care

  • Health screenings and physicals
  • Newborn and well-child care
  • Routine women’s health screenings, including pap smears, pelvic exams and breast exams
  • Immunizations, including flu shots
  • Physicals for school, sports and camps

Management of chronic conditions, including:

  • Allergies
  • Asthma
  • Diabetes
  • High blood pressure
  • Irritable bowel

Acute and sick care

  • Minor injuries such as lacerations, sprains diagnosing broken bones

Short-term illness such as pink eye, skin rashes and sore throats
