The Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital offers a comprehensive clinical experience in caring for patients with critical illness, as well as outpatients and inpatients with lung disease.  We offer comprehensive medical, surgical and cardiac critical care to a largely rural referral population.  Fellows are responsible for directing care of medical critical care patients and will rotate in both surgical critical care and cardiothoracic surgery.

Pulmonary patients are cared for by the inpatient pulmonary medicine service, which also functions to provide pulmonary consultation to other hospital services, and in the outpatient clinic setting.  Referrals from a regional population provide a diverse mix of patients with pulmonary disease, which is beyond that expected in a single rural location.
