New Board Member Joins The Guthrie Clinic Board

Dr. Nader MehravariGuthrie is pleased to welcome Dr. Nader Mehravari to The Guthrie Clinic Board of Directors. Dr. Mehravari, who is based in Ithaca, NY, is the Chief Scientist at Axio, Inc., a cyber risk engineering firm that helps organizations comprehensively manage cyber risk. 

The Guthrie Clinic Board of Directors is a diverse body of individuals carefully chosen for their varying backgrounds and unique skillsets.  The Board membership includes community leaders from across Guthrie’s region of care, national health care experts, and Guthrie physicians. The Board provides oversight and governance to ensure the organization fulfills its mission.

Dr. Mehravari also serves as chair of the Industrial Advisory Council for Cornell University’s School of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Dr. Mehravari previously worked with the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University and at Lockheed Martin in Owego.

Dr. Mehravari has long had connections with Guthrie and is looking forward to supporting Guthrie’s success through his technical and business management experiences. He will also bring knowledge and expertise in operational resilience and technical and financial cybersecurity safeguards.  

Guthrie is a non-profit integrated health system located in north central Pennsylvania and Upstate New York, serving patients from an 11-county service area.
