The Guthrie Post-Concussion Support Group will hold a meeting on Sunday, April 22 at 2 p.m. in the 4 Blue Conference Room located on the fourth floor of the Guthrie Medical Group in Sayre, Pa.
The meeting will feature guest speaker Rusty Wolfe from New Berlin, N.Y. Wolfe will discuss a number of concussions that she has sustained since childhood from sports and other incidents. Her most significant concussion was sustained as a result of a multi-collision motor vehicle accident in July of 2014. She is looking forward to sharing her story on her recovery from Post-Concussion Syndrome, her vision and vestibular deficits, and how they have affected her journey and relationships with her family.
The Guthrie Post-Concussion Support Group features speakers who share their personal journeys in dealing with sports related post-concussion syndrome. The group is free and open to community members who have suffered a concussion and their families.
