Guthrie Accepts Donation from American Legion to Establish Veterans Fund

Guthrie recently accepted a donation of more than $13,600 from Sayre American Legion Post 283.

The funds were raised at the Post’s annual golf tournament. This donation will be used to establish a fund to assist veterans and their immediate family members who are current Guthrie patients with unmet financial burdens resulting from serious or chronic medical conditions for which they are receiving care at Guthrie.

The American Legion’s gift will help meet a real need for veterans who are Guthrie patients and Guthrie is proud to be the recipient of such a generous donation.

For more information about how to make a gift to the Veterans Patient Assistance Fund, call 570-887-4420 or email to Resource_Development@guthrie.org.
