What drew you to Internal Medicine: What drew me to internal medicine was its intellectual depth and the diagnostic challenges it presents. I enjoy piecing together clinical puzzles and managing a wide spectrum of conditions across different organ systems. It’s a field that continually pushes me to think critically and remain curious. What truly solidified my interest, however, was the opportunity to follow patients over time. I value not only treating acute problems but also being part of their long-term journey toward better health.
Hobbies/Interests: When I'm not immersed in the world of medicine, you can find me exploring the great outdoors. I'm a nature enthusiast, with a deep love for trekking through scenic trails and lakes. There's something about being surrounded by nature that rejuvenates my spirit.

What drew you to Internal Medicine: I was drawn to internal medicine because I enjoy solving complex medical problems and thinking through the full picture of a patient’s health. I like how internists manage both acute and chronic conditions, and how they build long-term relationships with patients. I also appreciate that internal medicine offers many subspecialties and opportunities for growth.
Hobbies/Interests: Outside of medicine, I enjoy cooking, traveling, and bicycling. I also value spending quality time with my family and friends, which helps me stay balanced and recharged.

What drew you to Internal Medicine: I was drawn to Internal Medicine because I am passionate about providing effective care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings and because it offers potential to grow and explore different specialties while maintaining versatility as a physician.
Hobbies and interests outside of work: When outside the hospital, I am engaging in chess, sports (especially basketball), faith, music and exploring different cuisines.

What drew you to Internal Medicine: I'm thrilled to be a part of the Internal Medicine residency program. What drew me to this field is its unique blend of evidence-based medicine and versatility. As an Internal Medicine physician, I'll have the opportunity to pursue various specialties while developing a deep understanding of the human body. I appreciate how this field allows me to build long-term relationships with patients, following their journeys and making a meaningful impact on their lives.
Hobbies and Interests Outside of work, I'm passionate about collecting perfumes and exploring different scents. I'm also an avid soccer player and enjoy staying active through regular gym sessions. When I'm not working or playing sports, you can find me planning my next adventure – whether it's hiking, skydiving, or trying out a new outdoor activity. I believe that life is about balance, and I strive to nurture both my mind and body.

What drew me to Internal Medicine: I have always been fascinated by the complexity that certain disease conditions in internal medicine present with. This challenges me to think critically while applying the fundamental principles of medicine as I try to diagnose the condition(s). This critical thinking approach has endeared me to internal medicine. In internal medicine, I am also able to integrate other aspects of medicine in patient care. For instance, I am able to incorporate preventive medicine into the care of patients.

What drew me to Internal Medicine:  Internal medicine allows me to deeply understand complex pathophysiology, refine my diagnostic skills, and provide comprehensive patient care. Growing up in an area with limited medical resources, I saw firsthand the impact of chronic illnesses on individuals and communities. This inspired me to pursue a career where I could make a significant difference. Internal medicine offers the perfect blend of complexity and opportunity for thoughtful diagnostic reasoning, enabling me to develop personalized treatment plans and truly impact patients’ lives.
What do I like to do in my free time: In my free time, I love spending quality moments with my family, reading books with my kids, and cooking to express my care and love. These simple joys strengthen our bonds and bring me a sense of fulfillment and relaxation.

What drew me to Internal Medicine:  I consider Internal Medicine a creative and vast field with substantial opportunities for learning and professional growth. What do I like to do in my free time: I like to unwind by listening to music, watching films, or simply taking a nap. I also enjoy spending time in the back-country, playing chess and ultimate Frisbee.

What drew me to Internal Medicine:  In the second year of medical school, I was rotating with a rheumatologist, and I found it very interesting how different signs and symptoms were linked to a specific syndrome. I enjoyed the process of investigating and deducing the cause of their multiple health issues.  I also find it very fulfilling to discuss the nature of the disease and the best comprehensive approach to deal with their health issues. ​​​​​​​
What do I like to do in my free time: I like playing video games, coding, building Legos with my son and traveling. I also play the drums and the bass.
