What drew me to Anesthesiology: Anesthesia is a fast and exciting field where you see the outcomes of your decisions in real time. It provides an exciting blend of patient care, procedures, physiology and pharmacology unlike any other field. I also really enjoyed the short but especially meaningful patient interactions you have as an anesthesiologist!
What do I like to do in my free time: Watching whatever sport is on TV, working out, getting outdoors or exploring new breweries and wineries!

What drew me to Anesthesiology: I was drawn to anesthesiology by its distinctive fusion of precision, problem-solving, and patient care. To me, it embodies the mastery of both the art and science of preserving life's physiology. Providing patients with pain-free and stress-free experiences during surgery is immensely gratifying. The dynamic nature of this field, where split-second decisions can profoundly impact patient outcomes, captivates me. Additionally, the opportunity to work within multidisciplinary teams and utilize advanced technology to ensure patient comfort and safety deeply resonates with my passion for healthcare.
What do I like to do in my free time: In my free time, I enjoy hiking and exploring new trails. I love cooking, watching movies and above all spending time with my family and friends.

What drew me to Anesthesiology: Anesthesiology appeals to me because it mandates a high degree of knowledge, attention, detail, and skill. It allows me to be the patient’s primary advocate and play a pivotal position in a team, taking on either support or leadership roles as required. My interests lie in regional anesthesia to maximize acute pain management in both intra and perioperative periods.
What do I like to do in my free time: Enjoying the outdoors, gardening, playing tennis, traveling, visiting art museums, learning foreign languages, cooking, baking, and yoga and meditation.

What drew me to Anesthesiology: The peri-operative period is an exceptionally vulnerable time for patients. As an anesthesiologist you are an integral part of their support system ranging from alleviating anxiety to life saving interventions ​​​​​​​
What do I like to do in my free time: Eating at new restaurants, running with my dog, and spending time with family and friends

What drew me to Anesthesiology: I love physiology and pharmacology, and find it fascinating how anesthesia allows me to see their inner workings in real time. I love procedures and get to perform them daily and in a diversity of settings. I also enjoy the mix of acuity versus routine that is common in this field, you never really know what kind of challenges you may encounter. It is highly rewarding to be the person responsible for getting patients through their procedures and make them comfortable.
What do I like to do in my free time: Watching movies/series, hiking with my family, baking, reading, traveling when time allows it.

What drew me to Anesthesiology: In the preclinical years, I enjoyed studying anatomy, pharmacology, and physiology. In the OR, it was exciting to see the immediate effect of a medication on a patient's vitals, along with the necessity of making on-the-spot adjustments. Additionally, I liked the quick procedures found in anesthesia and the immediate difference seen by the patient.
What do I like to do in my free time: Watching TV, hanging out with friends, dining out.
