Guthrie Troy Community Hospital Auxiliary Concert a Huge Success

The Auxiliary at Guthrie Troy Community Hospital wishes to thank all the volunteers, performers and businesses that took part in their recent ‘Concert on the Green’.

A large crowd came along to the annual concert and ice cream social which saw performances by local singers Ike Bowers and Lynn Moyer. Concert goers enjoyed hot dogs and sloppy joes, as well as homemade pies and ice cream.

The Guthrie Troy Community Hospital Auxiliary would like to thank the community for its support as well as our entertainers, Ike Bowers and Lynn Moyer; Bob Brenner, Ike’s assistant; Dale Abbott, who generously gave of his time to manage the sound system; the Copper Tree Shop; Troy Tops Market; the Leona Meat Plant; Krise’s Tires and the First Citizens Community Bank for advertisement; and the First Baptist Church of Troy which served as the back-up venue in case of inclement weather.  A huge thank-you also goes out to the Guthrie Troy Community Hospital maintenance department for all of its help behind the scenes and in advance of the concert. Without the many donations and help of these organizations and people, events like this one would not be possible.
