Guthrie has again been recognized as one of the nation’s Most Wired hospitals, according to the results of the 2017 Most Wired Survey released by the American Hospital Association’s Health Forum and Clearwater Compliance, LLC.
This is the seventh consecutive year and the eleventh time in fifteen years that Guthrie has been recognized with a Most Wired award. The survey showed that the health systems that received this award are using smart phones, telehealth and remote monitoring to create more ways for patients to access health care services and capture health information.
Bert Robles, Guthrie’s Chief Information Officer said: “We are very proud to have been named Most Wired for the eleventh time. This award reflects our commitment to creating one of the most advanced, safe and accessible systems for our patients and employees. At Guthrie, patient engagement and the security of our health data are top priorities, and we continually strive to provide state of the art, secure information services.”
The Most Wired Hospitals award is given annually by Hospitals & Health Networks to the top hospitals and health systems in the country making the most progress in the adoption of health information technology.
This year marks the 19th anniversary of Health Care’s Most Wired Survey. This year’s list includes top hospitals and health systems that are ramping up their efforts to transform care delivery with knowledge gained from data and analytics to support new delivery models and effective decision-making as well as training clinicians on how to use analytics to improve quality, provide access and control costs.
