The cafeterias at Guthrie hospitals in Sayre, Pa., Towanda, Pa., Troy, Pa. and Corning, N.Y. will offer special healthy menus on Mondays beginning Jan. 8. The initiative, called Motivational Mondays, is designed to help patrons start their week with a healthy meal at any Guthrie cafeteria.

On Mondays, the deep fryers will remain off, and healthy alternative choices will be available to replace foods that are typically fried. Foods such as chicken and fish sandwiches, French fries, and breakfast potatoes will be baked on Mondays instead of fried. Additionally, the entrée options will feature rotating healthy dishes.
