Philip A. Lowry, M.D. rejoins the hematology and oncology departments as Chief of Medical Oncology in Sayre and Corning. He is a board certified, fellowship trained oncologist with clinical interests in colorectal cancer and lung cancer. He completed his residency and fellowship at University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va. He will be seeing patients in Sayre and Corning.
Thomas Gergel, M.D. joins the radiation oncology department as the Associate Director of Radiation Oncology in Sayre. His clinical interests are brain tumors, lung cancer and stereotactic radiation therapy. He completed his education at University of Buffalo School of Medicine in Buffalo, N.Y. and his residency at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Buffalo, N.Y. He will be seeing patients in Sayre.
William DiFilippo, M.D. is a board certified, fellowship trained nephrologist with clinical interests in chronic kidney disease, glomerulonephrisits and resistant hypertension. He completed his residency in internal medicine at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, N.J. and for general surgery at Maimonides Medical Center/Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, N.Y. and his fellowship in nephrology at UMDNJ – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, N.J. David Mevorach, M.D. joins the pain management team in Towanda. His clinical interests are back pain, chronic regional pain syndrome and spine pain. He completed his education at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pa. and his residency at The Genesee Hospital in Rochester, N.Y. Frederick Hilliker, NP is a nurse practitioner in the orthopaedics departments in Ithaca and Sayre. His clinical interest is in orthopaedic trauma surgery. He completed his education at Binghamton University in Binghamton, N.Y. He will be seeing patients in Ithaca and Sayre.
Thomas Maryniak, PA is a physician assistant joining the family medicine team at Guthrie Corning Centerway. His clinical interest is in acute care. He completed his education at Albany Medical College, Albany, N.Y. Thomas is now seeing patients at Guthrie Corning Centerway.
Jessica Ragan, NP is a nurse practitioner in the trauma and acute care surgery department in Sayre. Her clinical interests are in adult critical care and surgical critical care. She completed her education at Maryville University in St. Louis, Mo.
