Robert Packer Hospital Auxiliary the Title Sponsor for 42nd Annual Guthrie Gallop

The Robert Packer Hospital Auxiliary will serve as the title sponsor for the 42nd annual Guthrie Gallop, continuing its long-standing commitment to enhancing healthcare and wellness throughout the region.  

Proceeds from the Guthrie Gallop presented by the Robert Packer Hospital Auxiliary directly benefit the Cancer Care Fund at Guthrie, which provides invaluable financial support to patients facing the challenges of a cancer diagnosis.

“The Guthrie Gallop is always a great way to celebrate spring in the Twin Tiers,” said Kyle McDuffee, President of the Auxiliary. “More importantly, it’s an annual tradition in which the community shows its love and support for those navigating diagnosis and treatment of cancer. We can’t thank our runners, supporters and other sponsors enough.”  

The event takes place on Saturday, May 16. Registration for the live 10K and 5K races remains open until May 10, so act fast!  

The 10K begins at 8 a.m. and the 5K at 9:30 a.m. A Kids’ Fun Run kicks off at 9:15 a.m. The courses begin at the historic Sayre Theatre, 205 S. Elmer Ave., and wind through the streets of Sayre and Athens Boroughs.
