Emergency, Cardiology Entrance Re-opens at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center 

The Emergency Department and Cardiology entrance at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center will reopen Monday, June 8, following a brief temporary rerouting to accommodate new door installation.

The temporary rerouting has been in place since Thursday, June 4. Cardiology patients who were directed to the main north entrance this week can return to checking in through the standard Cardiology entrance beginning Monday morning.

The new doors are the latest milestone in the ongoing $7.2 million renovation of Guthrie Cortland's emergency department, a transformational project that began in September 2024.

Guthrie Cortland Medical Center thanks patients, visitors and the community for their flexibility during the temporary change.
