Williams Subaru Donates to Guthrie Cancer Center
The Guthrie Cancer Center is grateful for yet another donation from Williams Subaru. As part of the national “Subaru Loves to Care” campaign, and in partnership with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® (LLS), Williams Subaru team members delivered blankets and messages of hope to patients in their fight against cancer.
“We are proud at Williams Subaru to support LLS for our 8th year,” said Dalton Williams, Vice President of Williams Auto Group. “Most importantly, taking some time to step away from our dealership, visit patients in our community and understand what they are going through and doing our part to help. Our team is full of passionate and caring people and initiatives like this are so important to us. This year, we are donating 80 blankets to the cancer center as well as bringing messages of hope from our team members to those receiving treatment. We are grateful and proud of this partnership with Guthrie and LLS.”
This is just the latest gesture from Williams Subaru, a community partner that does its part to help patients heal. Guthrie caregivers witness the difference a donation like this can make to someone on their cancer journey.
“Our patients at Guthrie Cancer Center are so appreciative of this donation from Williams Subaru,” said Amy Minier, Social Worker, Guthrie Cancer Center. “Thank you for bringing smiles to their faces and hope to their hearts with your generosity. We thank all our community partners for being part of our cancer-fighting team!”
