Registration Open for the 2021 Guthrie Sayre Turkey Trot

November 9, 2021

Registration for the 15th Annual Guthrie Sayre Turkey Trot, presented by the Robert Packer Hospital Auxiliary, is open until Nov. 21. The race will take place (in-person) on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 25, starting and finishing at the historic Sayre Theatre. The course runs on local streets through the Athens and Sayre boroughs.

A virtual race option is also available. The virtual race will take place Nov. 22-26. Run anytime, anyplace, during Thanksgiving week. Virtual race participants are not eligible for age group or overall awards. Virtual participants will be able to record their own time and challenge themselves by tracking other virtual racers.

Proceeds from the Guthrie Sayre Turkey Trot will benefit Guthrie’s Cancer Care Fund. This fund was designed to help with the many financial burdens that come with fighting a cancer diagnosis, whether it is payment to heat a home for a patient undergoing chemotherapy or providing gas cards to patients traveling back and forth to treatment.

There will be no last-minute registration available this year. Registration is online only. Visit www.sayreturkeytrot.com for more information and to register for the race.
