Register early, win big: the Nightingale Benefit Concert returns May 8
April 6, 2026
The Cortland Memorial Foundation has opened early bird registration for the 2026 Nightingale Benefit Concert, set for Friday, May 8, at The Lookout at Greek Peak Mountain Resort in Cortland. Get your tickets by April 15 to be entered for a chance to win an early bird prize. The annual tribute to the nursing profession coincides with National Nurses Week and the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing, with all proceeds benefiting Guthrie Cortland Medical Center.
This year's event brings a new venue and a higher energy experience. Ithaca's Fall Creek Brass Band will headline an evening designed for celebration and dancing, and new door prize giveaways join the returning Wine Pull among the evening's attractions.
Doors open at 6 p.m. with a welcome reception featuring hors d'oeuvres, desserts and a cash bar with themed signature cocktails. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m., with the event running through 9:30 p.m.
A centerpiece of the program is the presentation of the fourth annual Nightingale Award, honoring a Guthrie nurse selected through a peer-nomination process.
Local retired nurses will receive special recognition and entry into a dedicated prize drawing; current Guthrie nurses are eligible for a grand prize drawing to close the evening.
Tickets are $50 per person. The Lookout is located at 2177 Clute Road in Cortland. No printed tickets will be issued — registered guests are checked in by name upon arrival.
Greek Peak is a cashless facility; credit or debit cards are required for bar purchases and on-site transactions. Cash will be accepted for the Wine Pull only.
Registration and sponsorship information are available at Guthrie.org/NightingaleConcert.
