Guthrie's Dr. Lisa Esolen Named to Becker's Healthcare 2025 'Patient Safety Experts to Know' List

According to Becker's, honorees are instrumental in reducing hospital-acquired infections, preventing adverse events and ensuring strict regulatory compliance. 

Dr. Esolen's inclusion highlights her visionary leadership in quality and patient safety, which has been crucial to Guthrie's evolution as a national leader in patient care.

The honor acknowledges her vital role in advancing patient safety and enhancing care quality throughout the organization. 

In its citation, Becker's recognized Dr. Esolen for helping develop Guthrie into a national leader in safety, quality and patient experience.

Her work has included defining next-generation patient journeys, creating transformational playbooks for quality and safety, improving clinical operations efficiency and developing a platform model for policies and procedures. 

In doing so, she has created a unified, standardized process across the health system. Her efforts have led to consistent reductions in hospital-acquired infections, bringing them to historically low levels.
