Guthrie Website Receives eHealthcare Leadership Awards

March 11, 2021

Guthrie has been recognized with three eHealthcare Leadership Awards which honor the very best websites and digital communications from a broad spectrum of healthcare organizations. Winners of Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Distinction awards represent 18 industry classifications, from hospitals and health systems to pharmaceutical firms and medical device companies.

The eHealthcare Leadership Awards recognized Guthrie's newly redesigned website with a Silver Award for Best Overall Internet Site, a Silver Award for Best Site Design, and a Distinction Award for Best Internet Home Page.

Mary Ann Dougherty, Senior Vice President, Strategy and Growth, said: "Guthrie is pleased to receive this recognition of our newly designed website. Our communities have long valued Guthrie.org as the best single source for education about services, finding a provider and learning about career opportunities. The new design makes it even easier to use as evidenced by a 41% increase in unique web visits.”

This recognition follows the major overhaul of Guthrie's website, unveiled on July 8, 2020. The new site design is optimized for mobile, built to be patient-centric, and organized around conditions and treatments. Since the redesign, unique user visits have increased 41%, total visits increased 36%, page-views increased 27%, and open scheduling appointments increased by 80%.
