Guthrie has seen a significant increase in the number of patients it serves from the Elmira/Corning area. In order to meet these increased demands for services, Guthrie has opened a new Specialties and Rehabilitation Building in Big Flats.

“Investments in the Corning and Big Flats areas, some of the region’s fastest growing communities, will enable residents of these and surrounding communities to enjoy better access to specialty medical care, close to home,” Dr. Joseph Scopelliti, Guthrie President and CEO said.

This new facility will provide patients with improved access to a variety of services, some of which have not been available to local Guthrie patients before now. The space was also designed with the patient’s convenience and privacy in mind.

Services provided at the new location include:

  • Orthopedics
  • Occupational Medicine
  • Cardiology
  • Pain Management
  • And other specialties on a rotating basis
