Guthrie Presents Donald Guthrie Distinguished Provider Award

Guthrie recently presented the 2018 Donald Guthrie Distinguished Provider Award to Dr. Bruce Greene, associate in orthopedic surgery at Guthrie Ithaca Orthopedics.

The award was presented during the fifty-fourth annual Recognition Awards Banquet, held each year by Guthrie Medical Group. Dr. Greene was nominated by a number of his patients and selected by a committee for this prestigious award. Patients recognized Dr. Greene’s compassion, thoughtfulness and commitment to their care in their nomination forms.

This award recognizes providers who have gone above and beyond to provide outstanding service that has made a meaningful difference to the patients at Guthrie. Guthrie invites patients, employees and the Twin Tiers community to nominate providers for this award each year in August.
