Guthrie Post-Concussion Support Group to Meet May 19

The Guthrie Post-Concussion Support Group will hold a meeting on Sunday, May 19 at 2 p.m. in the 4 Blue Conference Room located on the fourth floor of the Guthrie Medical Group in Sayre, Pa. 

The meeting will feature guest speaker Tim Henry, a senior at Athens Area High School. Henry will speak about his difficult decision to give up sports because of his concussions. He will also talk about his concussion history and living with Post-Concussion Syndrome on a daily basis.

The Guthrie Post-Concussion Support Group features speakers who share their personal journeys in dealing with sports related post-concussion syndrome. The group is free and open to community members who have suffered a concussion and their families.
