Guthrie Lourdes Pediatrics Earns Two Broome County Immunization Champion Awards
Guthrie Lourdes Pediatrics has been recognized with two 2026 Broome County Immunization Champion Awards, earning top honors for both childhood and adolescent immunization rates. The awards recognize healthcare providers that demonstrate exceptional commitment to protecting children and adolescents through vaccination.
The practice received awards for:
- Best Childhood Immunization Rate, measured by the percentage of children up to date on the recommended vaccine series by their second birthday.
- Best Adolescent Immunization Rate, measured by the percentage of adolescents up to date on meningococcal, Tdap and HPV vaccinations by their 13th birthday.
According to the Broome County Health Department, Guthrie Lourdes Pediatrics achieved a 2026 childhood immunization rate of 96%, up from 94% in 2025. The practice also increased its adolescent immunization rate to 45%, up from 33% the previous year.
The awards were presented as part of the 2026 Broome County Immunization Champion Awards, which recognize healthcare practices that achieve outstanding vaccination rates and advance public health throughout the region. This marks the third consecutive year Guthrie Lourdes Pediatrics has been recognized through the Immunization Champion Awards program, reflecting the practice's ongoing commitment to preventive care and community health.
