Guthrie Implements Visitation Changes Due to Prevalence of Flu

The Guthrie Clinic is committed to safeguarding the health and well-being of our patients, caregivers and visitors. Due to the increased frequency of influenza in our communities, all Guthrie hospitals have implemented revised visitor guidelines:

• Children under age 12 should not visit hospital patients
• Any individual with respiratory symptoms such as runny nose, cough or sneezing should not visit hospital patients

Although not required, visitors are encouraged to wear masks.

We continue to closely monitor the prevalence of influenza in our communities and will update these guidelines when infection rates change.

We thank our visitors for their cooperation as we work to slow the spread of the flu.
