Guthrie Hosts Lung Cancer Screening

In recognition of Lung Cancer Awareness Month, Guthrie is holding a lung cancer screening event for members of our community who are 50 and over. 

• When: Thursday, Nov. 17 
• When: 1-4 p.m., Guthrie Sayre Clinic, 5 Green 

Appointments are required, along with a pre-appointment phone consultation to determine your eligibility. Those eligible will then go on to a shared decision-making appointment on Nov. 17 to learn more about low-dose CT lung cancer screening. These scans are fast and painless and allow your doctor to monitor you closely, and most importantly, potentially catch cancer early, when it’s most treatable.
