Guthrie Hospitals Recognized for Stroke Care Excellence

Four Guthrie hospitals have been recognized for exemplary stroke care by the American Heart Association and the American Stroke Association Get With the Guidelines® program.
Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital, Guthrie Corning Hospital and Guthrie Cortland Medical Center all received Gold Plus Achievement, meaning they matched or exceeded the program’s achievement measurements for two consecutive years.
All three facilities also received Target: Honor Roll Elite and Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll awards as part of their overall Gold Plus Achievement.
The three hospitals also earned Rural Stroke Gold recognition, meaning they met or exceeded the program’s composite score for rural health measures pertaining to stroke care.
Guthrie Lourdes Hospital achieved Silver Plus Achievement in recognition of matching or exceeding program measures for a single calendar year.
These achievements showcase Guthrie's dedication to continuously improving patient care and gaining national recognition for its efforts to enhance health outcomes across the communities it serves.
