Guthrie Gala Raises Record-Breaking Amount to Support Local Healthcare

A sold-out crowd of more than 400 guests gathered at the Corning Museum of Glass on Aug. 29 for the 2026 Guthrie Gala, Unforgettable, raising nearly $550,000 to support Guthrie's mission of providing exceptional care throughout the region.

The record-breaking total marks the most successful fundraising Gala in Guthrie history. Proceeds from the event will benefit Here. For Good. The Campaign for Guthrie, helping ensure patients have access to high-quality care close to home for generations to come.

"The overwhelming support shown at this year's Gala demonstrates the commitment our communities have to strengthening healthcare across the region," said Dr. Edmund Sabanegh, Guthrie President and CEO. "Every contribution helps advance our mission and supports the care our patients and families depend on every day."

Held at the award-winning Corning Museum of Glass, the evening celebrated Guthrie's legacy of care and the lasting impact of philanthropy on patients, caregivers and communities throughout New York and Pennsylvania.

Guthrie recognized the many donors, sponsors and attendees whose generosity made the event possible.
