Guthrie Cortland Rehabilitation Services Relocated to Enhance Patient Convenience
Guthrie Cortland Rehabilitation Services have been moved to the first floor of Guthrie Cortland Medical Center, to better meet the needs of our patients.
The relocation from the third floor of the hospital makes outpatient accessibility much easier, with the department located adjacent to the hospital entrance. The new setting also provides more space to best care for our community.
All services will continue in the new location, which include:
- Physical Therapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Speech Language Pathology services
Specialties offered include, but are not limited to:
- Swallowing evaluations
- Post-concussion rehab
- Vision rehab
- Orthopedic and sports medicine
- Specialty PT intervention for Parkinson’s patients
- Pelvic floor/women’s health interventions
- Pediatrics
“This relocation completes a process we started last year, when we moved all outpatient rehab services from the Fisher Ave. building in Cortland to the hospital,” said Scott Mayberry, Director of Rehabilitation and Respiratory Care. “We hope the ability to receive all our services under one roof, in an area more accessible to individuals with mobility issues, will enhance the experience for our patients.”
