Guthrie Cortland Medical Center Expands Drive-Thru COVID Testing Hours
Guthrie Cortland Medical Center is expanding the hours of its COVID-19 drive thru testing site, located in the Alvena Ave. parking lot across from the front entrance of the hospital. Beginning Monday, Nov. 29, testing will be available Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The new schedule begins during the holiday season when more gatherings are anticipated. The expanded hours are also in response to a consistently high positivity rate in Cortland County.
Testing will be offered for any patient with an order from their provider for pre-procedural testing, potential exposure, requirement for employment or school participation, or general concern. Patients must have an order to be scheduled for testing. To make an appointment, call the Guthrie COVID line at 607-299-7676.
Patients can also be evaluated at Cortland Walk-In Care, located at 4077 West Road in Cortland. Walk-In Care is open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
All patients are responsible for copays, co-insurance, or cost of testing, which varies depending on their insurance carrier.
