Guthrie Corning Hospital Receives More Than $2,300 Donation from Corning Jersey Mike's Subs Fundraiser

August 6, 2025

Guthrie Corning Hospital recently received a $2,342.46 donation from the new Jersey Mike's Subs location in Corning.

The funds, raised during the restaurant's grand opening fundraiser, will support local health care services.

The community event generated donations through a special promotion where Jersey Mike's contributed $3 for each customer who redeemed a designated coupon.

A recent check presentation ceremony celebrated the partnership and community support.

Harlan Iversen, general manager of the Corning Jersey Mike's Subs shop, shared his excitement about the outcome.

"The grand opening was a huge success, and we were thrilled to support Guthrie Corning Hospital," Iversen said. "We deeply appreciate the community coming together to help us launch our business while giving back to the hospital. We're committed to continuing our support for the Corning community through great subs, excellent service and ongoing charitable initiatives."

Guthrie representatives expressed gratitude for the generous contribution, noting that these funds will directly support the hospital's mission of providing exceptional care to the community.
