The Guthrie Clinic Welcomes New Board Members
The Guthrie Clinic is pleased to welcome two new members to its Board of Directors.
Robert “Bob” Fisher, currently a member of the Lourdes Hospital Board of Directors, has been approved as a member of The Guthrie Clinic Board and will also serve as an Audit and Compliance Committee member. Fisher is Chairman, President and CEO of Tioga State Bank, N.A. and its holding company, TSB Services, Inc.
He has served on multiple national, state and local boards and has committed himself to advocacy on behalf of the community banking industry as an engine of local prosperity. Fisher is a veteran of the United States Air Force, received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
Mary George Opperman, currently serving on the Compensation Committee, has been approved as a member of The Guthrie Clinic Board of Directors. Opperman is President of the Opperman Consulting Group and a nationally recognized authority on work force and higher education, currently serving as Senior Vice President and University Secretary at Syracuse University.
Opperman has served on multiple boards, including Hospicare and the National Academy of Human Resources Foundation. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at SUNY Oneonta and a Master of Science in Organizational Behavior from the School of Industrial & Labor Relations at Cornell University.
