The Guthrie Clinic has been recognized by ALL IN: Wellbeing First for Healthcare as a 2026 Wellbeing First Champion. The designation verifies that Guthrie’s credentialing applications are free from intrusive, stigmatizing mental health questions, helping clinicians seek mental health care without unnecessary professional barriers.

Health care professionals deserve the same privacy and support when seeking mental health care as anyone else. Removing overly broad questions from credentialing applications is one step toward reducing stigma and building a culture where clinician wellbeing is treated as an organizational priority.

“At Guthrie, we believe caring for our patients and communities begins with valuing the individuals who care for them every day,” said Dr. Elizabeth Linkenheil, Guthrie Chief Wellness Officer. “This recognition reflects our commitment to fostering a culture where clinicians feel supported and empowered to seek care when they need it. Seeking help is a sign of strength, and no clinician should face stigma or unnecessary professional barriers for doing so.”

Ongoing communication and access to confidential resources remain important to creating lasting cultural change. Guthrie provides clinicians with 24/7 access to mental health support through SupportLincHCP.

“Every health worker is a human being who carries the immense weight of caring for others. For too long, our caregivers have suffered in silence, fearing that seeking the confidential mental health care they need would cost them the career they love,” said Corey Feist, CEO and Co-Founder of the Dr. Lorna Breen Heroes’ Foundation, which leads the ALL IN: Wellbeing First for Healthcare coalition. “Guthrie is breaking that silence - sending a powerful, compassionate message to their workforce that your life matters as much as your livelihood, and you never have to choose between the two.”
