Guthrie Chief Digital Officer Recognized Nationally
We are proud to announce that Guthrie Chief Digital Officer Terri Couts has been named to the 2024 edition of Becker’s Hospital Review’s “Chief Digital Officers to Know” list for the second year in a row. Becker's Healthcare is the go-to source for health care decision-makers.
Becker’s recognizes the increasingly vital role that chief digital officers play in health care organizations and in their transformation. The list commends chief digital officers for their commitment to improving hospitals and health systems via digital and data initiatives.
Couts, who became Guthrie’s first Chief Digital Officer in 2022, was recognized for ensuring the delivery of high-quality services in support of clinical and business operations. She was also honored for her efforts to establish the Guthrie Pulse Center, work for which she was selected as Innovator of the Year by the College of Health Information Management Executives.
“We are thrilled, but not surprised to see Terri on this list,” said Dr. Edmund Sabanegh, President & CEO, The Guthrie Clinic. “With her nursing background, she has a keen understanding of the relationship between technology and modern medicine, and her work to align these areas puts Guthrie at the forefront of providing the highest quality care, now, and in the years ahead.”
Couts was one of only 46 Chief Digital Officers named to the list and the only one in our region.
