Guthrie Appoints First Vice President of Government and Community Affairs
Guthrie is pleased to announce the appointment of Kate Ellison as its first Vice President of Government and Community Affairs.
In this newly created role, Kate will lead Guthrie's efforts to build and strengthen relationships with government and community stakeholders, advocate for policies that support the organization's mission, and enhance its presence in the communities it serves.
Kate brings a wealth of experience in public policy and advocacy to Guthrie. She most recently served as Senior Manager of Government and Advocacy Communications at UPMC, where she successfully led communication strategies on key issues such as health care workforce development and first responder support.
Kate's expertise in navigating the legislative process and building coalitions will be instrumental in advancing Guthrie's strategic initiatives.
