Guthrie Announces Wineglass Kids Run Sponsorship
Guthrie is increasing its partnership with the Wineglass Race Series, with the addition of the Wineglass Kids Run presented by Guthrie and Dick’s Sporting Goods.
The Wineglass Kids Run will be held on Saturday, May 25 at the Corning-Painted Post High School stadium at 9:30 a.m., immediately following the Wineglass 8K. Children ages 3-8 are eligible, with options for multiple distances from 50 to 800 meters.
Guthrie has long been a proud sponsor of the Wineglass Marathon, and this partnership furthers the importance we place on physical fitness at all ages.
“We’re thrilled to be a presenting sponsor of the Wineglass Kids Run,” said Dr. Edmund Sabanegh, President & CEO, The Guthrie Clinic. “We believe in the benefit of activity and exercise in the health of the communities we serve, and we are excited to help our young people play an active role in their own health.”
The Wineglass Kids Run is $5 for the first 50 registrants; only $10 after that until the event sells out.
All children must be registered and wear their official race number to participate. Each child will receive a race T-shirt, a snack and drink, and a special prize. To learn more and to register for the Wineglass Kids Run, please visit https://www.wineglassmarathon.com/races/wineglass-kids-run/.
