The Golf for Guthrie Hospice committee has announced the date for the area’s premier golf tournament. The 2019 tournament will be held Friday, June 21 at The Club at Shepard Hills in Waverly, N.Y.

Long-time tournament supporters Williams Toyota of Sayre (Title Sponsor), Sayre Health Care Center (Golf Cart Sponsor) Keck’s Food Service, Inc. (Banquet Sponsor), and The Sayre American Legion Post 283 (Registration Sponsor) will serve as this year’s major sponsors, however, a wide variety of sponsorship opportunities remain available.

The tournament has raised more than $460,000 for an inspirational cause. All proceeds benefit Guthrie Hospice, which provides end-of-life services for patients throughout the region – regardless of ability to pay – and offers bereavement services in the community.

The Golf for Guthrie Hospice committee is seeking both business and individual sponsorships and teams for its 17th annual tournament. For a complete list of sponsorship opportunities, to pledge a sponsorship or for more information, call Nichole Cocco in Guthrie Resource Development at 570-887-4420 or visit www.guthrie.org/golf-for-hospice.
