Donation from the Josh Palmer Fund Will Help Guthrie Cancer Patients

Representatives from the Josh Palmer Fund presented caregivers from the Guthrie Corning Cancer Center with a $27,500 donation.

The Guthrie Clinic is pleased to announce a gift of $27,500 from the Josh Palmer Fund. The generous donation is designated specifically for the support of patients battling cancer.  

“This gift is so deeply appreciated and is just the latest example of the commitment the Josh Palmer Fun has shown to those fighting cancer,” said Tricia Huston, Executive Director of Resource Development, The Guthrie Clinic.  

“This contribution will directly assist our oncology patients and their families with critical financial needs that often accompany a cancer diagnosis, reinforcing the Josh Palmer Fund’s longstanding commitment to our community and to compassionate, patient-centered care,” she added.

The Josh Palmer Fund has been an integral part of the Southern Tier community for more than 25 years. The organization helps local cancer patients and their families manage the financial challenges that come with cancer diagnosis and treatment. The unwavering support provided by the Josh Palmer Fund has made a significant impact on countless lives, and their latest contribution continues to demonstrate their commitment to making a difference in our community.
