Bloom Annual Reception Raises $32,000 for Guthrie Corning Hospital

CORNING, N.Y. — Bloom, the annual spring reception held in support of Guthrie Corning Hospital, recently brought together community leaders, donors and friends for an inspired, elegant evening. The event raised over $32,000 that will directly benefit the hospital.  

Held at the Corning Country Club on April 16 against a vibrant, colorful floral backdrop, the event was a celebration of philanthropy and the powerful impact of Guthrie Corning Hospital in the region.

“It’s always wonderful, and humbling, to see the amount of care and commitment our Bloom sponsors, donors and attendees have for Guthrie Corning Hospital,” said Tricia Huston, Executive Director of Guthrie Resource Development. “The funds we raised help contribute to the quality care and resources the hospital is known for.”  

“The generosity of this community helps ensure Guthrie Corning Hospital continues to deliver the highest quality care through continued investment in key programs, expansion of services, and securing state-of-the-art equipment,” said Jennifer Yartym, President of the hospital. “When way say ‘Here. For Good,’ it’s more than just a campaign slogan. It’s a promise to our patients and their loved ones.”
