Dense breast tissue can make it difficult to detect cancer with standard mammograms. Contrast-enhanced mammography (CEM) uses a special dye to highlight suspicious areas, making it easier to detect cancer early.  
Guthrie Troy Community Hospital made a bold investment in breast care, including a $500,000 upgrade to its mammography suite. Now, with your support, we’ve added CEM, a powerful tool that improves cancer detection in women with dense breast tissue, making the total investment in mammography over $600,000
