A Clearer Future Starts Here

Help Bring Contrast-Enhanced Mammography to Troy, Pa.

Dense breast tissue can make it difficult to detect cancer with standard mammograms. Contrast-enhanced mammography (CEM) uses a special dye to highlight suspicious areas, making it easier to detect cancer early.

Guthrie Troy Community Hospital is making bold investments in breast care, including a $500,000 upgrade to its mammography suite. With your support, we can go even further by adding CEM, a powerful tool that improves cancer detection in women with dense breast tissue.

Why Contrast-Enhanced Mammography Matters

“Breast cancer screenings save lives. Guthrie Troy Community Hospital has the latest 3D mammography technology. When there is a suspicious finding, the addition of contrast-enhanced mammography, coupled with our new breast ultrasound and MRI equipment, will eliminate the inconvenience and anxiety of waiting for an appointment elsewhere. By helping to bring these capabilities to Troy, you will improve access to breast imaging for this community.”
