Guthrie Troy Community Hospital has been awarded a Level IV Trauma Center Accreditation, making it the first Critical Access Hospital in Pennsylvania to achieve this status. This accreditation, which goes into effect Nov. 1, was granted by the Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundation (PTSF).
Guthrie and Lourdes have teamed up to offer free medical care to members of the community. The two organizations will be delivering Medical Mission at Home on Saturday, Oct. 22 from 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at Owego-Apalachin Elementary School, 2 Sheldon Guile Blvd., Owego, NY.
Medical Mission at Home delivers health care and social and support services to those who might not otherwise have access to these services and in locations where individuals are physically located like places of worship, schools, community centers, homeless shelters, and food pantries.
