Guthrie Cortland Medical Center to Cease Drive-Thru COVID Testing

Guthrie Cortland Medical Center will no longer operate its COVID-19 drive-thru testing location in the parking lot across the street from the main entrance of the hospital. The final day of service will be Friday, April 28. 

This decision is based on several factors, most notably the steep decline in demand. The community can still receive COVID-19 testing at the Guthrie Cortland Walk-In Clinic, located at 3993 West Rd. in Cortland. The clinic entrance is on the left of the building for convenience. Clinic hours were recently expanded to 7 a.m. – 7 p.m., Monday-Friday and on weekends from 7 a.m. – 1p.m. 

As was the case at the drive-thru testing site, anyone arriving for a COVID-19 test should have an order from a provider. Cost depends on your insurance carrier.
