Guthrie Corning Hospital Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Program Certified by Industry Leader
Guthrie Corning Hospital is proud to announce the certification of its Cardiac Rehabilitation Department by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR). The program was recognized for its commitment to improving the quality of life by enhancing standards of care.
Guthrie Corning Hospital's cardiac rehabilitation program is designed to help people with cardiovascular problems recover faster and improve their quality of life. The program includes exercise, education, counseling, and support for patients and their families to help people who experience a cardiac event or heart disease recover faster, return to more full and productive lives and reduce the risk and severity of future heart disease.
Guthrie’s cardiac rehabilitation team participated in an application process that requires extensive documentation of the program’s practices. AACVPR Program Certification is the only peer-review accreditation process designed to review individual programs for adherence to standards and guidelines developed and published by AACVPR and other professional societies.
