Guthrie Chief Digital Officer Named Innovator of the Year

Guthrie is proud to announce that Terri Couts, Chief Digital Officer, has been named Innovator of the Year by The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME). 
 
This award recognizes a CHIME member who has demonstrated value to their respective organization through the creative application of technology in support of their organization’s key and strategic business objectives. It is also an acknowledgement of the creative and innovative application of technology in support of some segment of the healthcare industry. 
 
Couts was nominated for the implementation of our Guthrie Pulse Center, specifically the speed at which it was operationalized. The Guthrie Pulse Center is a cutting-edge virtual care center that merges advanced technology with our team of talented caregivers to create an innovative, patient-centered health care system. 
 
Couts’s award adds to the list of national recognition associated with our Guthrie Pulse Center, including the 2023 Health Technology Excellence Award by ECRI and Modern Healthcare’s Top Innovators of 2023.
