Come out and join Guthrie for our Teddy Bear Clinic at Guthrie Vestal Pediatrics! Bring your child and their favorite stuffed sidekick for a cheerful, hands-on event that turns a mock medical visit into a fun learning experience.

At this special event, children can bring a teddy bear, doll or other stuffed animal in for a pretend appointment. Along the way, they will guide their cuddly patient through each step of the visit, from check-in to a gentle “check-up” with one of our pediatric providers.

Our goal is simple: help children feel more at ease with doctor visits by creating a positive, engaging health care experience that feels welcoming and easy to understand.

What to Expect
The Teddy Bear Clinic gives children a chance to explore what happens at a doctor visit in a relaxed, kid-friendly setting.

Each child will:

• Schedule an appointment for their stuffed animal
• Register their cuddly patient at check-in
• Take part in a vitals station
• Meet with one of our pediatric providers for a pretend check-up
• Visit the play pharmacy, where prescriptions are filled with treats
• Head home with a small goodie bag  

Every part of the event is designed to feel interactive, friendly and fun.
