What is the Guthrie Ambassador Volunteer Program?
Our Ambassador volunteers create meaningful connections with patients by providing a warm, helpful presence at key entrances, assisting with wayfinding, and ensuring a positive experience.
Program Details:
- Shifts: Days, Monday - Friday
- Locations: All Guthrie hospital campuses
- Ambassadors will receive a Guthrie polo
Who Can Be an Ambassador Volunteer?
- Friendly individuals who can walk or stand for up to four hours
- Effective communicators with a clean, professional appearance
- Those willing to complete required trainings
- Prior experience at a Guthrie location is a plus, but not required
Comprehensive Training Provided:
- Annual compliance, safety and inclusion training
- On-site wayfinding guidance
- Patient experience/iCare training
